My Beginning Acoustic Guitar Story

When I was shopping for my first beginning acoustic guitar, I soon realized two things very quickly: there were so many beginning guitars to choose from and they were all a little pricey. I was frustrated because I didn’t know where to start or even if I COULD start without burning a hole in my pocket. And even if I could afford it, how would I decide which brand to choose? I then started searching for a more practical and affordable alternative.
Thus my search for that perfect beginner acoustic guitar began. I thought about used guitars but I wanted something new without breaking the bank. I knew that buying a new acoustic guitar would not only give me that feeling of ownership, I would be its first and only owner. And besides, I like the smell of fresh paint.
Anyway, I searched long and hard for months for that perfect, new starter guitar with no success. You may be disappointed to hear this but I never found what I was looking for. I ended up playing my older brother’s friends’ guitars since they were lying around in our house. Eventually, I did get a guitar as a Christmas gift so I never had to worry about paying for it.
So there I was, years later, “happily” playing the guitar, owning none that I was REALLY happy with (I had picked up a couple of cheap, used guitars along the way but never a brand new one to learn acoustic guitar with).
Then it happened, almost suddenly. My search was over. I found something that fit my criteria to the “T’. Finally, a beginning guitar that I could be happy with because it was new… AND it was affordable. Hallelujah!
The funny thing is I didn’t find this beginning acoustic guitar by driving around town stopping at all the music retail stores. I already knew they would be way too expensive (come on, at the time I was going to college and was on a very tight budget. We’re talking chump change here). I didn’t find it at any pawn shop (remember- I didn’t want any used guitars anymore). I didn’t even find it in my older brother’s closet (he was old and married then and was 2,000 miles away, but that’s beside the point).
I found this beginner guitar in my own house, on my own computer. Well, technically I found it on the internet. But there it was, right in front of my eyes. My problems were solved: I was done worrying about which brand to choose from and I could finally buy a good beginning acoustic guitar for under $100 dollars. Actually, under $40 dollars! Wow! I was blown away to say the least.
So my recommendation to you is if you’re looking for that same guitar I was for years, save yourself some time and don’t go visiting all the guitar stores if you’re wanting to spend less than $100 dollars because chances are you won’t find it. Take my advice and find it on the internet. Plus you’ll have that cheap acoustic guitar shipped right to your door while saving gas.
I'm Roger Berger and when I started searching for a decent brand new acoustic guitar, I ran into a couple of problems: there were so many to choose from and I couldn't find anything under $100. Well, after years of searching I finally found the most affordable beginning guitar out there. This discovery of mine will save you tons of time and money, believe me.
